Well I decided to try and get Jack's hair cut again. The last attempt resulted in a very unhappy kiddo and only half a hair cut. I was trying to prolong this as long as possible. Jack may have got his hair color from Daddy's family but I think he got the thickness from me. He has a ton of hair! As much as I loved running my fingers through it anytime he would sit still long enough, he was really starting to sport a baby mullet. I brought him to the barber shop on base while we were out running errands. As soon as we entered the place he started saying "bye-bye" and "all done". He watched a couple of people ahead of us get theirs cut, but as soon as it was his turn the water works started. The barber initially tried to use this Flowbee type device which was a pair of electric clippers attached to a vacuum. He learned quickly that we probably needed to switch to scissors. I even brought a lollipop hoping that would distract him enough, but he wouldn't even try to put it in his mouth. So then the lollipop just became a hair magnet, it has rather humorous. About half way through the cut he realized it wasn't so bad and actually started smiling. You have never seen a kid happier than when the barber said "all done". I thought Jack was going to kiss him. We picked most the hair off the Sugar Daddy and he was good to go. I think the hair cut is a little short, and makes him look way too old, but at least there is room for it to grow out!

What a cutie! I love his new haircut.
That's a funny story about the lollipop...Craig's mom was just telling me about how that didn't go so well when Craig got his first haircut. Sticky things and falling hair just don't go together!
Miss y'all
