He's Getting So Big!

It seems like Jack has grown up so much in the past few weeks. He is talking in almost full sentences and his understanding of what we are saying is amazing. He started his Mother's Day Out program at our local church this week and transitioned beautifully! He had been going to drop off daycare at the CDC on base for the last month and a half or so. I was a little worried he would be upset going to a new place but he walked right in, gave me a kiss, and said "bye bye Mommy". Here is Jack working on his first school project. His classroom is called the "Tiny Turtles" so they had us decorate a turtle to hang in the classroom. Jack colored it and then we added pictures of the family so he can see some familiar faces when he is there.

Another big milestone for Jack this week was that we converted his crib into a daybed. Jack was sooo excited to sleep in his "big boy bed". We had been a little apprehensive about switching it because for the longest time Jack would resist going to bed for a few minutes and so we were afraid he would get right out. The past month or so though he goes right down and has even started to ask to go to bed. Tonight is his first night so we will see how he does. When I kissed him good night and left the room I almost started to cry, my baby is growing up so fast!!
